Lana Delaine Gay Johnson
Southside - Funeral services for Lana Delaine Gay Johnson, 65, were held on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 11 a.m. at K.L. Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel in Jacksonville with the Revs. Bob Miller and Donald Leggett officiating. Burial followed in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family received friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening.

Mrs. Johnson died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden.

She is survived by two daughters, Misty (Michael) Lutley, of Southside, and Tara (Brian) Shadoan, of Owens Cross Roads; a son, Chad (Brandi) Johnson, of Huntsville; her mother, Audrey H. Gay, of Oxford; three sisters, Annette Johnson, of Jacksonville, Nancy Haynes, of Oxford and Ellen Richardson, of Lincoln; a brother, Wally Gay, of Moulton; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Heflin and a resident of Calhoun County for most of her life.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Misty Lutley to defray funeral expenses.
