Mr. Tillison died Thursday at his home.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sherry Tillison, of Jacksonville; a son, Keith Tillison and his wife Carolyn, of Wellington; two daughters, Tina Gardner and her husband Tony, of Southside and Lisa Walden and her husband Tim, of Jacksonville; a stepson, Stacy Jenkins and his wife Cindy, of Milton, Fla.; three brothers, Wilmer Tillison, Billy Tillison and Larry Tillison; six grandchildren, Kevin Holcombe, Hayley Gunter, Cody Walden, Kristen Tillison, Megan Tillison and Stacy Lee Jenkins; a great-grandchild, Riley Gunter and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cody Walden, Brandon Brown, Michael Tillison, Shane Draper, Heath Draper and Rodney Tillison.
Mr. Tillison was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a native and lifelong resident of the New Liberty Community, a 1957 graduate of Jacksonville High School and was retired from M & H Valve after 32 years service. He enjoyed very much, his retirement and being able to do what he wanted to do each day.
Mr. Tillison was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mary Lou Tillison; a daughter, Gina Lynn Tillison; a brother, Jerry (Red) Tillison and a sister, Linda Hilyer.
