Shelia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved all of her family very much, and loved spending time with them, especially Sunday lunch gatherings. Her hobbies included cooking, collecting Christmas villages and all things Christmas. Shelia’s smile would light up a room and she will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Hulsey, formerly of Jacksonville; son, Rodney Bone (Jennifer), of Scottsboro; daughters, Cecilia Ann Carlson (Justin), of Auburn and Meredith Hulsey (Rickey Kepler), of Huntsville; grandchildren, Ryan Bone, Taylor Bone, Hallie Bone, John Thomas Bone, Bailey Kepler and Lila Kepler; brothers, Dr. Cecil Dorsett (Bitsy), of Gadsden; sisters, Cecilia Whitt (Ralph), of Centre and Imelda Beasley, of Gadsden; several nieces and nephews; and special cousin, Bart Johnson, of Sardis.
The family received friends Thursday, September 27, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service was at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012, in the chapel with Judge Dennis O’Dell officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
