Mrs. Yevick died October 26, 2012 at her home.
She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Yevick Mayfield (Hill), of Piedmont; one son, Larry Yevick (Grace), of San Diego, Calif.; one granddaughter, Misty Searcy (David), of Vestavia; one grandson, Tyler Lance Mayfield (Julie), of Jackson, Tenn.; two great-grandsons, Hayden Marbut and Hampton Searcy, of Vestavia; two great-granddaughters, Cameron Marbut and Bennett Searcy, of Vestavia; four sisters, Reba Tillery Barnwell (Homer), of Jacksonville, Beth Tillery Reiss (Hans), of Trussville, Louise Tillery Strength (John), of Hoover, and Wanda Tillery Copeland (Alan), of Hanceville; two brother-in-laws, Sonnie Yevick (Brenda), of Jacksonville, and John Yevick (Patsy), of Hampton, Ga. and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thedford (Ted) Lytelle Yevick; two brothers, Robert Tillery, of Birmingham, and Harold Tillery, of Texas; two sisters, Doris Tillery McAnally, of Arab, and Trilby Tillery Hendrix, of Anniston.
The family would like to give gratitude and special thanks to her caregivers that gave her such loving care, Donna Coleman, Tina Coleman, John Coleman, Lynda Camp and Kristy Anderson, all of Gadsden and Amedisys and Hospice. Special thanks also go to her longtime best friend, Evelyn Hooper, of Anniston.
Mrs. Yevick was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Carri’s Brook Industries of Anniston.
