Vanessa M. Bonner receives the DEMIL Achievement Award
Vanessa Marie Bonner, a resident of Jacksonville received the DEMIL Achievement Award. Vanessa, an Anniston Army Depot’s Battelle contract employee, working as a Lab Tech at the (ANCDF) Anniston Chemical Demilitarization Facilities, was presented the Gold Star Award (plaque) on December 6 by Battelle (The Business of Innovation) in recognition of her Certification in a higher job code or other lab department at the Anniston Chemical Demilitarization Facilities.
Vanessa is a graduate of Jacksonville High School; received her BA Degree from Fisk University in Nashville, Tenn.; received her MS Degree from Jacksonville State University; and she was a former high school science teacher at Childersburg High School before becoming a Lab Tech at the Anniston Army Depot. She is the daughter of Robert and Margie Williams Bonner of Jacksonville and the niece of Horace Lee Williams of Jacksonville.
