Mrs. Curry died Monday, December 17, 2012, at Ladiga Manor.
She is survived by her son, Randall Deaver and his wife, Vicky, of Arley; a daughter-in-law, Greta Deaver, of Jacksonville; one sister, Betty Seymour and her husband, Glenn, of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Oscar Taylor Jr. and his wife Anna Mae of Kingston, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Robin (Scott) Curvin, Tony Deaver, Amanda (Lee) Terry, Carrie (Matt) Haynes, Tommy Deaver, Andy (Lyndsey) Deaver and Angela (Clint) Deaver; eight great-grandchil-dren, Daniel (Jessica) Curvin, Allie Curvin, Jordan (Colton) Duke, Anna Leigh Terry, Harley Meche’ Haynes, Madison Haynes, Cameron Deaver and Brooklyn Deaver; four great-great-grandchildren, Jen-na Duke, Sydney Curvin, Gavin and Baby Renn Duke on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Ms. Curry was a member of West Side Baptist Church. She enjoyed helping out her community and volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the Pink Lady Auxiliary at Jacksonville Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Ira Moody Deaver; her second husband, Horace Curry; and her son, Stan Deaver
