Lady Eagles take two wins

Jacksonville’s Lady Eagles won their first two games of the season before going winless in the Saks Tournament over the weekend.

The Lady Eagles started the season with a 3-0 win over Wellborn.

Mikayla Ludwig was the winning pitcher recording seven strikeouts. At the plate Abby Jaskowski and Raegan Stallings went 2-for-3.

Jacksonville’s second outing was a 10-8 come from behind win over Cleburne County.

The Lady Tigers lead 8-5 until the Lady Eagles stormed back to score five runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Chametris Young led Jacksonville going 1-for-3 with a solo homerun.

Everyone in the batting lineup recorded a hit for the Lady Eagles.

Jacksonville had a tough time getting anything going at the Saks Tournament over the weekend losing to Buckhorn, White Plains and Albertville.
